Pasifik Blower is a Turkish Roots blower manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of two-lobe and three-lobe rotary positive-displacement blowers for continuous industrial service. Founded in 2011 and based in Konya, Türkiye, the company combines in-house manufacturing capabilities, application engineering and practical industry experience to provide dependable air- and gas-handling solutions for both pressure and vacuum duties.

Pasifik Roots blowers transfer an approximately fixed volume of gas during each rotor revolution, enabling stable and predictable airflow within the approved operating range. The synchronized rotors operate without contacting each other or the blower casing, while the timing gears and bearings are lubricated in separate compartments outside the gas path. Under normal operating and maintenance conditions, this arrangement keeps the compression chamber free from lubricating oil.

Our industrial Roots blowers are suitable for demanding applications such as wastewater treatment and process aeration, pneumatic conveying, bulk-material handling, industrial vacuum generation, fluidization and the transfer of compatible process gases. Depending on the required supply scope, each model can be supplied as a bare-shaft blower, a base-frame-mounted blower package or a complete blower unit housed within an acoustic enclosure.

The Pasifik Blower product range covers nominal inlet flow capacities from 30 to 9,360 m³/h and differential pressures up to 1,000 mbar, depending on the selected model, operating speed, inlet conditions and system requirements. Actual capacity, absorbed power, discharge temperature and permissible operating limits are evaluated individually for each duty point.

Rather than selecting equipment solely by connection size or motor rating, we assess the required inlet flow, differential pressure, gas properties, operating profile, installation environment and noise limits. This application-based approach allows the blower, drive system and package components to be configured as a technically compatible and maintainable solution for each project.

Pasifik PB Series two-lobe Roots blowers combine established rotor geometry with robust mechanical construction and straightforward maintenance. They are intended for continuous industrial service where stable volumetric flow, oil-free process-gas handling and predictable performance are essential.

The current two-lobe range includes PB100, PB112, PB125, PB137, PB151, and PB161 models. Available capacity and power vary with blower speed, differential pressure and inlet conditions.

Three-lobe technology produces more frequent, smaller discharge pulses than a conventional two-lobe configuration. Depending on blower speed, operating pressure and package design, this can reduce pressure pulsation and contribute to smoother gas delivery.

A three-lobe machine is not automatically the correct choice for every installation. The decision should be based on the required duty point, permissible speed, acoustic target, energy use, installation constraints and lifecycle priorities.

Bare-Shaft Blowers, Blower Packages and Blower Units

Supply requirements vary from one project to another. Pasifik Roots blowers are therefore available in three configurations: a bare-shaft blower, a blower package or a fully enclosed blower unit.

The bare-shaft configuration consists of the blower itself and is intended for integration into an existing system. A blower package is assembled on a rigid common base frame and typically comprises the blower, chassis, expansion chamber, safety valve, filter, suction and compression manometers, check valve, silencer mechanism, belt and pulleys and electrical motor.

A blower unit incorporates the complete blower package within an acoustic enclosure, providing an integrated, noise-attenuated solution for installations with defined sound-level requirements.

The final component selection, material specification and package arrangement are determined according to the required duty point, pressure or vacuum operating mode, process-gas properties, installation conditions, noise limits and project-specific requirements.

What is a Roots blower?

A Roots blower, also known as a rotary-lobe blower, is a rotary positive-displacement machine designed to deliver a continuous and predictable volume of air or compatible process gas. It contains two synchronized, two-lobe or three-lobe rotors mounted on parallel shafts within a close-clearance casing. The rotors turn at equal speed in opposite directions and are synchronized by external timing gears, allowing them to operate without contacting each other or the blower casing.

As the rotors turn, gas enters through the inlet and becomes trapped in discrete pockets formed between the rotor lobes and the casing. These pockets are transported around the outer circumference of the rotors and released at the discharge port. Unlike a screw compressor, a Roots blower does not progressively reduce the volume of the trapped gas to produce internal compression. The pressure rise occurs when the displaced gas encounters the backpressure generated by the connected system. Consequently, absorbed power and discharge temperature increase as the differential pressure rises.

Each rotor revolution displaces an approximately fixed volume, so the blower’s theoretical capacity is primarily determined by its displacement and operating speed. Actual inlet flow is also influenced by internal leakage, commonly referred to as slip, as well as inlet pressure, inlet temperature, gas density, internal clearances and differential pressure.

The bearings and timing gears are lubricated in separate compartments outside the gas path. Under normal operating and maintenance conditions, the compression chamber therefore remains free of lubricating oil. This combination of stable volumetric flow, non-contacting rotor operation and oil-free gas handling makes Roots blowers suitable for applications such as wastewater aeration, pneumatic conveying, process air supply and industrial vacuum systems.
